Osarosa Intervention Foundation is a teen-owned 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization that provides life-changing medical interventions to women suffering from obstetric fistula.
Our Mission
Driven by compassion and a desire to make a lasting impact, our mission is aimed at restoring hope, dignity and joy to the lives of the women living with obstetric fistula!
Our services include a holistic approach to assisting these women – physically, emotionally, socially and financially. We provide free corrective surgeries, free medication/drugs, proper and adequate nutrition while they are in the hospital, professional counseling services, reintegration support as they are re-absorbed into their local communities, small business start-up capital, required for economic empowerment/independence, follow-up visits and much more.
We are firmly committed to changing their lives for the better, because we believe that no woman should have to endure the stigma, shame and torture of living with obstetric fistula!
